A stare between two who know each other all too well.
Two known eyes glancing at one another.
It’s like a conversation between two minds, two hearts.
No words have to be spoken to know what they’re saying.
It’s intense, overwhelming, complete.
It holds more than words can say.
But staring too long might bring questioning upon yourself.
But you don’t really care about the outcome.
Because in that moment you’re communicating with someone else.
You’re hopefully saying all the words you need to say.
Hoping that they can understand.
But then reality strikes and your friend asks “What are you looking at?”
